Programs
Changing
displays of coverlets from around the country will be augmented by exhibits
of ‘period’ weaving equipment. Museum visitors will learn
who the weavers were, where they came from, and how they lived. They
will see how coverlet designs, patterns and structures reflected evolving
technology and popular tastes in the decorative arts of their time.
Special events will include traveling and guest exhibits
along with seminars, workshops and other activities geared for enthusiasts
at all levels of coverlet study.
The research library will be open to all members.
